Mathijs Witteveen

Mathijs is a researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis (KiM). His primary research area at KiM is person mobility, with a strong focus on active modes. Recently, he studied the effects of the e-bike on mobility and the relationship between health and active modes.

Mathijs holds an MSc in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) from the Delft University of Technology. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the Delft University of Technology focusing on dynamics in travel behaviour, with a focus on active modes.
