On September 10th, mobility experts from both Belgium and the Netherlands digitally met to discuss the impact of covid on our mobility patterns. The session, hosted by Fietsberaad Vlaanderen and the Dutch Cycling Embassy, in close collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy in Brussels, Triple Joy and RvdBijl Urban Planning was shaped around four main themes:
- The force of public investments in relation tot their economic impact.?
- What logical arguments can convince when persuading peers and decisionmakers?
- What will the long-term impact of covid on cycling policies be?
- What role can activism play in accelerating cycling policies?

The session resulted in a lively discussion which was too short to answer all questions.
