International Cycling Policies and Strategies,
Mirjam is an enthusiastic and positive driven, pragmatic entrepreneur at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Watermanagement. She works in different fields as a project manager and strategic policy advisor. Most projects are related to cycling policies, bicycle data, traffic management and cycling innovations. Mirjam is results-oriented: She enjoys the challenge to find the best solution wherever many stakeholders with different interests are involved. Mirjam has a degree in Civil Engineering (Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics) and is very knowledgeable in the field of cycling and experienced in moderating sessions and leading (ThinkBike) workshops and presentations She’s specialized in Cycling Network Planning and currently working on many international projects in the field of strategic cycling policies, data and innovations.

DCE experience/projects: As former Director of the Dutch Cycling Embassy, since 2015, Mirjam has guided many (ThinkBike) workshops and presentations, for example in the UK, Belgium, New York, Minneapolis, Detroit, California, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, New Zealand & Australia and Taiwan.
