Sri Lanka Ride for Life Webinar

Webinar picture

On Tuesday March 8, the Dutch Embassy in Colombo and Dutch Cycling Embassy organized a webinar for the cyclists’ group Ride for Life.

Ride for Life is growing from a volunteer organization to an established lobby organization. Wim Bot from the Fietersbond gave interesting insights of how this process went for their organization in the Netherlands.

After the presentation there was a lively discussion with the founding members of Ride for Life. Wim emphasized the importance of safe cycling conditions so that cycling is safe for 8 to 80 years old and the importance of civil society. Next to membership and funding, the effectiveness of your activities and studies are very important. We are looking forward to bringing our cooperation with Rife for Life further!
