On Thursday, March 17th, 2022, the Dutch Cycling Embassy received in its office a delegation from the municipality of Mülheim. The officials, coming from a variety of backgrounds such as environment protection, climate change adaptation, construction supervision authorities, and land planning are interested in the understanding of traffic management and cycling.
At their arrival at the DCE’s office, the delegation was welcomed by DCE’s Chris Bruntlett, who provided a presentation on the insights of cycling in the Netherlands. Later, Ruben Loendersloot, from Loendersloot International, gave a presentation on traffic planning. He also guided a bike study trip from Utrecht to Houten, where the delegation cycled 30 km on e-bikes, observing and learning from the regional infrastructure.
