Last week, we had the honour of welcoming 8 members from the municipality of Oslo. Their goal was to experience the Dutch cycle-related urban and mobility developments, focused on retrofit projects with limited room for expansion, as this is a challenge they are facing in Oslo.

The Dutch Cycling Embassy was present at the ITS 2018 in Copenhagen. Jointly with the Cycling Embassy of Denmark, we participated to the session “Connected, cooperative and sustainable – How cities can accelerate cycling through intelligent mobility solutions.”

On Tuesday September 18th, the DCE received a delegation from the Province of Nakhon Phanom, Thailand. The DCE was introduced to delegates of this province by Adrie Braat, who noticed the upcoming cycling culture when visiting the region last year.

Last Friday, September 7th, a delegation from the city of Vejle visited Amsterdam. These city representatives were here to experience the Dutch way of cycling and wanted to be inspired by our infrastructure for local improvements.
